French Revolution and Neutrality Proclomation: The French Revolution was a war about the French people who removed their king and made a republican government. This all happened in 1789 in Bastille and was one of the first acts in the French Revolution. The Neutrality Proclomation was a proclomation about how the United States wouldn't support European nations at war.
Jay's Treaty and Pickney's Treaty: Jay's Treaty settled problems with the United States and Great Britian in November 1794. Pickney's Treaty solved the problems with the border and trade with Spain in October 1795.
Conflict in the Northwest Territory: Americans had problems with Northwest Territory and Native Americans began to protest. The British traders gave guns to the Native Americans to go to war and in 1790 they made an alliance and defeated U.S. forces.
The Whiskey Rebellion: Farmers were very mad about the tax that was put on whiskey. Protestors didn't pay the whiskey tax and a lot of other people didn't either. By 1794 lots of fighting began because of that.
Washington Says Farewell: In 1796 George Washington chose to not do a third presidential term and wanted to retire. With the help of Hamilton and Madison, Washington was able to compose his Farwell Adress.
